How do I get myself to stop thinking there's a ghost in my room?

i slept in my room for a while but all of a sudden i had the feeling that someone was watching me so i opened my eyes and i saw something that disappeared quickly. i thought that it was just my imagination but then it happened more often and i actually felt something grab my arm and let go and i heard someone calling my name. my dad slept in my room and said that there was nothing. im still a little freaked out to sleep in my room because that happened for over a week.

Our daughter had this problem and we put a video recorder in her room at night w/ a low light on. This way we were able to record what was happening in her room. When we watched the video in the morning, we were astounded to find the cat had been sneaking in and out of her room at night.

Unfortunately, she would wake up just in time to see a tall shadow just disappearing around the door. The hall light through her door, made the cat's shadow look much bigger than it was and it really looked like a spooky ghost on the video.

If you do not have a video recorder, you could put a tape recorder on voice actuated under your bed or in your closet w/ the door open a bit. That might help you to hear what is going on in your room.

Good luck! : D

I have the same problem. But I completely agree, that they feed off fear. So don't show it you're afraid. Most ghosts are harmless. The grabbing of your arm, might just be in your imagination. Believe the mind can really play tricks on you when you're scared. If the problem continues and you really feel like your being attacked then you should have a specialist bless the whole house.

Well for one, try calling ghost busters they can rid of it. Second is call a paranormal activity worker to help. Third you can try talking to the ghost, try to find out who it is or see why there I'n your room.

Ghosts are definately real. It's your opinion that they aren't. Don't mess with the supernatural.

Contact paranormal investigators and ask them to do an EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomonan). The EVP will capture any voices in the house if they are speaking. If your house isn't haunted, then watch that Ghost Adventure show or Paranormal State tv show. Those investigators do a lot of things in haunted places. If you watch those, you might get rid of that ghost-in-my-room thought. Hope this helps! :)

When I was a teenager there was something in my room, it would move a chair from all of the way across the room, when I would wake up, every morning, this chair was right beside of my bed and facing my bed. "it" also woke me when I got up late for school by touching my arm and calling my name. I just wanted you to know you're not alone here, it seems like this ghost is just watching over you, nothing to be afraid of, just thank them

Omg, I get this all the time! I'm twelve and recently I've been feeling like someone is watching me or even sitting on my bed on a night. I also feel like someone's hand is touching my legs and sometimes my arms, which is really poo-your-pants scary. The best thing (for me anyway:D) is to try and ignore the things going on around you...oh God, listen to me, I sound like a know-it-all hahaha. Just try and remain calm and if things don't improve then get some sort of paranormal team to see to it. If your dad doesn't believe you, then convince him that something is really going on by crying about it or something. I dunno. Just keep calm!
