Look for multi vitamins that have a large number of vitamins and minerals. There are certain vitamins that can harm you in large doses (A in particular), so don't go for the varieties that offer massive doses. Also, some minerals supplements are more easily digested than others. Look for supplements with chelated minerals (or possibly colloidal minerals).
As for diet, try to eat a wide variety of foods. It will increase the chances that you'll get at least trace amounts of vital nutrients that you might otherwise miss.
The only thing a vitamin can do is to prevent you from acquiring a condition or illness that would occur if you were deficient in that nutrient. Adult height is determined by genetics. Simply maintain a healthy diet and you can reach that height. If you eat a healthy diet, vitamin supplements are not needed. There is no "wonder pill" to make you tall.
