The Demons have not been granted that kind of power. First, Hell is just mankind common grave. Now in respects to what the demons can do --- their powers are limited. The can mislead mankind.
To mislead people, the demons use spiritism. The practice of spiritism is involvement with the demons, both in a direct way and through a human medium. The Bible condemns spiritism and warns us to keep free from everything connected with it. (Galatians 5:19-21)
What the demons want is for you to carry out their wishes and oppose the directions and teaching of "Almighty God - Jehovah." If you dabble in spiritism --you are opening the doors to have the demons in your life. They enjoy frightening people and placing dread in their life. They can lead you into harming yourself but they themselves can not kill you physically. If they could all of mankind that were trying to serve Almighty God would be dead. So, no they can not cause you direct harm in killing you - resist the devil and flee from anything satanic.

I don't know if you are a christian or not, but either way, you don't need to be concentrating on learning more about that stuff. Instead, choose to learn of good things, ok?
