What is a good cream for the face when i have extremely dry skin?

Avoid anything with oil. I use Eminence products, which are very expensive. But, you can probably find cheaper. The problem may be the cleanser you are using more than the moisturizer. I'd try using a cream based cleanser, opposed to a gel or moisture stripping facial cleanser.

I use Eucerin products for my skin. They have many different products - some for the entire body and others for the face. For my face, I use Everyday Protection Face Lotion SPF 30.
