I fell and my hip is really sensitive, but there's no bruise. What happened?

Today at cross country I fell on my hip, and now it is extremely sensitive to touch and sometimes even to put weight on. It's been hours but there's still no bruise or mark all. What happened?

You may have a strained or torn tendon or ligament from your fall. The tendon is the tissue that connects your hip to your leg and can become injured from falling or twisting. You will need to see a doctor if this continues to hurt after 2-3 days or if the pain becomes unbearable.
Take care.

Oh - you may have damaged the living lining over your bone (periosteum) at the site of your injury. That can cause big problems down the track, so do get it checked by someone who understands the risk. I would give Homeopathic Arnica 30C and Ruta grav 30C as tablets or drops to clear the damage - hopefully your Pharmacy or health shop will have supplies. I know any local Homeopath will be able to help you....

I'm not sure what happened but you might want to see a doctor.
