I just read where ..read on please

A porn site wanted to raise funds for the Susan Komen fund by donating 1 cent for every 30 or so views of their site. Kudos for Komen..they refused.
Would you agree with the Komen fund or disagree? I say..Good for you Susan G.Komen people. This makes me happy to be doing Ask and not using a lame excuse to view porno.

Blood money is blood money. I agree with you in that the porn sites would be able to say, "Watch your porn here and a donation will be given to the SGK Foundation." Porn is sick and letting a porn site make that claim is sicker. Kudos to the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Now if the porn site did it anyway and made the donation anonymously and WITHOUT taking credit for it in ANY way then that's different.

That's right. If they REALLY cared, they would have donated it anonymously. Very good point.

The Susan G. Komen fund should take money from wherever they can get it.

This is why agree that they should NOT take money from them. First of all, there's right and there's wrong. Wrong behavior causes someone to lose focus on their time, their family, their job, their MONEY, and the relationships they have with their loved ones. We all know porn has the very strong capacity for doing these things to some of their viewers. It becomes habit forming for some. Right things such as the Koman foundation, do NOT cause these negative consequences in people. When you mix money from a source that has caused the above trouble and hurt more often than it doesn't, such as porn sights, with a program which does not cause these things , you are mixing right and wrong. When you mix those two, it just doesn't work right. It's like mixing oil and water. It doesn't mix and all you get is oily water. It's bad karma.

Continued-this is not meant to start a debate on porn. And I won't partake of one. It's just my opinion on why the foundation should not take their money. We all know this site did not really mean to help women by exploiting women. They just wanted more viewers. Also, I happen to know very much of what I speak a out here relating to the two...breast cancer and also what porn does. It doesn't mix.
