Just tell Him what is in your heart. There are proscribed ways of praying, but I honestly believe that He doesn't really care HOW we pray, as long as we DO. Thank Him for the blessings in your life, tell Him your worries, ask Him for His help and guidance in your life... just talk to Him like you would any other friend... because that's what He wants to be for us, as well as our Heavenly Father.
just talk to him like ur talking to a friend, i promise that doesnt mean ur crazy, ur just praying! i know that sometimes he feels far away and u cant hear his answer, but keep in mind hes always listening but he doesn't always say yes.
Through your prayer. If you dont know how to pray it is very easy all you have to do is pretend you are talking to someone and if you dont want people to think you are crazy( you are not) then just write a letter to him anyway he is listening to you.
First create a mythical god character that possesses all the the best ideals you can imagine and give it a benevolent third person omniscient perspective on the universe; then use your first person perspective to talk to it as much as you like. You can tell it how much you love it; ask it to forgive you when you're bad or have it tell you , you'll spend eternity in bliss because you're sooooo good, but everyone else not like you will be tortured in unimaginable pain for eternity. Wow, the possibilities are endless. You can even pray to your third person omniscient perspective on the universe and it will always answer your prayers with a yes, no or not yet.
Show God sincerity by telling Him the truth. We cannot hide our sins (bad things we do) from God; He sees and knows everything! He wants us to confess our sins and ask Him for the strength to obey. Don't try to use fancy words; just use regular words. God understands when we pray without speaking aloud, but sometimes we concentrate better when we talk out loud. God is more interested in the content of our hearts than the eloquence of our words.
Talk to Him like you would talk to a friend. Tell Him how your day went. Tell Him how you have been feeling and the troubles that you have had. God wants you to talk to Him. He wants to hear from you. God is your Father.
This is how God want's you to pray : Matthew 6:9–13 (ESV) "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil." -In Jesus's name, Amen
It depends on what you want to talk about. But, I think it should be more important to what god has to say to you, than what you have to say to god. And if he is out there, he should know how to reach you. Your government knows, why not your god? :)
God hears you and if you listen closely you can hear HIm. On another note I notice the same posters who do not believe in God almost always post in these questions. If you would spend the same amount of time seeking Him.... instead of being angry and trolling these pages in search of believers who are struggling....or those who are trying to seek Him out... you would be better off. Most of those who have relaionship answer humbly, most of those who have no relationship answer with derision, anger , mocking etc. Why so angry?
