I have an app that when I got it was free but I don't know if it's still free. The app is called BookReader. It doesn't have all books but it has great ones to read.

Hah! I have a non-jailbroken iPod Touch and I can read for free! You just have to know which apps!

Theres no such thing as an app that has completely free books. Though Amazon does have some pretty good books that are free. Try the kindle app and the Amazon store app.

Really? I have such an app, it has over 20 books for free to read and the full volumes, not just little bits.
