Anyone who deals with pain and/or depression or other mental illness on a daily basis and still gets up and does what needs to be done. Those people are MY heroes.
My mom is my hero because she always did what was right. She was 15 years old when she became pregnant with me and 16 when she had me. She could have chose to abort me or adopt me out, but she and my dad who was 17 chose to do the hard thing, the responsible thing, and raise me. They needed help along the way and they weren't ashamed to admit it. Now that she is gone I know how big of a sacrifice she made to raise me at such a young age. For that she is my hero, and my dad is too.

Dimebag Darrel (guitarist of Pantera, R.I.P brother, metal misses you dearly) , Lemmy Killmeister of Mot?rhead, Rob Halford of Judas Priest, Virus of Dope (their guitarist, also plays violin), Michael Romero and Russel Allen of Symphony X (guitarist and vocalist respectively), everyone in Dream Theater (John Petrucci their guitarist, James LaBrie their vocalist, Mike Portnoy who used to be the drummer in the band but left, John Myung their bassist, and Jordon Rudess their keyboardist. All are beasts at their instruments), Alexander the Great (a little out of place amongst all these musicians), Tobias Sammet of Edguy, Randy Blythe of Lamb of God. And the list drags on and on.
