What are some tips for running long distance?

Try to breathe through your nose as long as possible. If you breathe with your mouth, you'll get tired quickly. One more thing, make sure you have water handy :)

breath through in your nose and out your mouth and go faster then race pace at the start go race pace in the middle go hard at the end go on YouTube type barefoot form running for tips on your form don't drink water during the race don't eat energy bars before the race eat fruit and carrots cause the help cramps.

Pace yourself!so you don't tire out quickly! Run at a steady pace til the end you do the final sprint!

Have a shoe pro evaluate you for shoes. When you feel you are tiring, only run another quarter mile

Eat good easy digest food at least a couple hours before.

Pace yourself and try not to run right after you eat these things always help me.
