My wife makes this casserole with broccoli and Velveeta cheese with Ritz crackers crumbled on top. And I also look forward to turnip. It's a good veggie and for some reason Thanksgiving is the only time anyone seems to make it.
Well this is kind of just my family that does this, but lasagna. I finally confessed to my mother I didn't like turkey so she started to make lasagna for me and now she is stuck making it every holiday. After I got married and moved away she didn't make it and everyone else complained.

Mashed Potatoes (with honorable mentions for stuffing and corn bread). [based on my taste preferences] As far as I'm concerned, you can do away with the sweet potatoes and cranberries. In fact, turkey and mashed potatoes with gravy would be a reasonably complete Thanksgiving dinner in my book (assuming that it came with large quantities of pumpkin pie afterward).
