Should i have a snack after i run because i run o most right before i go to bed?

i was wondering if i should have a small snack such as i had little bit of low fat strawberry yogurt and a apple and now drinking water i was just wondering if that was a snack and should i no snack that much after i run if i am still trying to lose weight and keep it off. i ran 2.5 mils with 15lbs on each foot (leg weights) so not a easy run i am asking because during the night i did not want my body eating my muscle for glucose or whatever during the night.

Personally I love munching on a raw vegetable like a carrot, broccoli head, cucumber, etc after training. Then i drink a cup of hot herb tea to relax my body before I go to sleep. Snacks btw are supposed to be very simple like one Cliff bar would be another example.

It is okay to have a snack but make sure it is not another full meal. It will help you keep off insomnia and also keep you from starving in the middle of the night. Your body will need to replace the energy lost in the exercise.
