Is Uni different compared to high school?

I am having my exams soon and I'll be finishing my final year of school! (Yess!) and I have decided to do further studies and I just wanted to know to those who attend uni or have finished it. Is Uni different compared to high school?

All of the above, plus you will have adult responsibilities and will be responsible for yourself. There are no detentions and you don't have to attend classes. It is very stressful. The drama is very much reduced because everyone is very busy doing their work. Most people are very focussed on assignments and studying. Mom isn't there to make your lunch and make sure you have a pen. You will need self-discipline and focus. Good luck. University is a fabulous adventure.

Yes, college or university (uni) is different than high school. In college, no one checks to see if you hand in your assignments... you either do it or you don't, and if you don't, you fail. You have to have more determination, drive, and self-discipline to get through college than high school, especially since you are usually away from home for the first time and the feeling of independence can either be very heady or totally overwhelming.

Yes. The speed is much faster. The basic ratio is one week of HS is one day of college. Granted, you do not go to class everyday, but it is still a lot of information to process.
