Do you like Stephen King's The Dark Tower novels?

I like Stephen King, I like a few of his books... The Stand, The Shining, and maybe one or two others. For some reason I do not like that series at all. After reading "The Stand" many years ago I was a fan. Then somebody gave me a book titled "Swan Song" by Dean Koontz!! It was along the same theme as The Stand, only in my opinion, better. After that experience I sort of gravitated to Koontz. Now I'm strictly into James Patterson. Nuts right?
