How can I get a Jehovah's Witness family to accept me for not being Jehovah's Witness?

My best friend comes from a family of Jehovah's Witnesses. Even though he doesn't know it himself, my theory on why I don't even get to go to his house is because his family doesn't hang out with non-jehovah's witnesses. I could be wrong, but how could I get them to at least try to get to know me. I have only met the mother and brother. What should I do?

I think your chances of acceptance into the family circle are remote. While Witnesses do have friends outside of their faith, there seems to be a limit on the closeness those relationships are allowed to reach. If no Witness clarifies this before then, I'll ask my friend who is a Witness on Monday and post to you.

This is a joke please I beg you not to do this... You could show up at their door in a suit & tie and them questions about Jesus then invite them to an Easter event at a church.

They'll never change. Just meet him away from the house. Just 2 guys going to a ball game or a movie.
Chat in the phone. Enjoy friendship

JW's are somewhat exclusionary in how closely they associate with non-JW's. For instance, if someone leaves the JW faith, they're to be shunned by those still in the faith. I don't think a JW is allowed to marry a non-JW, at least not within the church. I'm not saying it's right or fair, but it's what they believe.

Demand to know why they (JW) don't have windows in any of their buildings? They all look like miniature prisons!

Demand to know? I've never had much success with that myself.
I'd assume they have their reasons. I'd imagine, but don't know, that security may have something to do with it. Many of their buildings are in the higher crime, low income areas, from my observations.
Again, I don't know, just guessing here.

Thank you. Now I know. But yours is the only religious buildings with absolutely no windows--always seemed strange.
