Is working better then school?

or the other way around?

Report as

Working is generally more liked than school. You get paid to be here... School is good for being educated though, a priceless skill.

Money? or priceless BS? that's a tough one.

Well that college degree will get you a good paying job that gives you way more money, plus only high school is BS. College is real information :)

From the start of Jk to finishing college I hated school, I just couldn't stand the teachers constant b****ing. Do this and do that....why don't they just shut up for once? So I would choose work over school any day. When I finished college I promised myself I would never get ordered around like that EVER again, and that's exactly what i'm doing now...... But it does depend what kind of job you have.

If you have a job you don't get a summer break.

If you go to school, you're constantly stressed and never stop getting b****** at for everything you do
Report as
XpertThief - the same is true with work, generally. You have more options with where you work as opposed to where you go to school. But you'll find to a large extent things are more or less the same all around.

I'm gonna go with probably. I don't have a job yet, but I mean, you don't have homework or projects or tests when you have a job. And you get paid to work, so... :o

When you finally move off on your own you'll find that getting paid for going to work is great - for about the first month or so. Once you realize that all your money has to go for food, rent, utilities, car payments, insurance, phone bills, etc. the novelty wears off. You'll probably find, as most of us do, that you're still left left with little or no money for yourself. When you're young you imagine all the freedom you'll have when you're grown up. When you actually become a grown up you realize how much constraint your liabilities and responsibilities place you under. Enjoy school while you have it. The grass isn't as green on the other side of the fence as it looks.

It would depend on what you do for work. If you love your job you're in luck. Here are some general comparisons: School is about 30 hours a week. Full time work is 40 hours a week. If you have bad attendance at school you might get poor grades. If you have bad attendance at work you get fired. At school you get homework that you're expected to do on your time. At work you are rarely, if ever, expected to complete work at home on your own time. Both school and work are necessary commitments of your time and limit your personal freedoms. Personally, if I could get paid equally for my time I'd choose school over work.

I think working would be better. Because, your not pressured into getting good grades and if you late it's not the end of the world.

Think of it this way, to get the job you want, that pays you what your worth, you probably have to go to school and finish college. Then you can be happy for the rest of your life and not have to work as hard and make more money. So school is a road to happiness and a job can either make you happy and financially stable or not. Depending on which road you take. To sum it up you've got to pay your dues...... ;o)

Depends. If you work at a place that you have no interest in, then no, probably not. If you get your dream job or whatever you want, than yes I suppose it would be much better than school. Or maybe your like me where school is a hell pit and you would pretty much do anything to get out of there...
