Nothing worse than tooth pain! Sounds like you exposed a nerve, and the dentist will need to get that taken care of permanently, but until then, the best thing I have found is warm compress and Orajel. Otherwise heavy duty drugs! Cracked teeth are nothing to play around with, so don't delay in getting that dentist appointment...if your dentist can't see you, then seek a new dentist!
I have had this and sometimes it can be as simple a your tooth-paste...WHITENING kind...take a break and see if the tooth feels soothed...than when it goes away try the whitening and see what happens. I have been going to MY DENTIST since I was 12 and I go every year, except when I was in school, in Texas..than No...and I 'am 28. The dentist has charged me 118.00 for a filling...but that's nothing when you go every 6 months... than when you can't afford it you can go as long as 3 years, still that is pushing...people cannot afford because they lost their job...still keep brushing!
Well my mom has endured this problem b4 and she goes all the time to get one of ur tooth filled which costs a good amount oh and you could also use orejel to stop the pain but doesnt last forever just shorts about a time u have to keep puting more in and its kinda expensive...good luck and sorry to hear that. ;-(

Do nothing on your own using home meds like orajel will only dirty the area. Please see an endodonist to have a root canal, that is all they do, with a regular dentist you are gambling. After the root canal is complete then find the best dentist and have it crowned make sure the dentist uses posts for the crown. If they advise pulling get a second opinion. Once it is pulled it will make a hole and you will have nothing but problems down the road. Get it taken care of ASAP. Good Luck
OIL OF CLOVE ona Q-tip right in the hole.Its sold in a tiny brown bottle with a red cross on it in the drugstore over the counter labelled Tooth Pain Relief.It will make the pain say "Asta la Bagels!!"
If you cracked a tooth you really should go to a dentist but if you just need temporary relief then oragel works best it numbs it so you can’t feel anything just don’t get it on any other part of your mouth if you do you will get your whole mouth numbed not fun. Good luck!
One clove of raw garlic, chewed until the mouth stings and then swallowed took the pain away for me and it worked really quickly. I'm surprised no one else has mentioned it. Then again no dentist with boat payments would tell you something as cheap as garlic would work.
All instant tooth ache relievers contain the same active ingredient...Alcohol. Rubbing alcohol cannot be swallowed, but soaking a Q-tip with it and placing it directly on the tooth sure stops the pain instantly... temporarily...DO NO SWALLOW IT!!! Then....you gotta see a DENTIST...Good luck!
If you want to keep your teeth white like silver than you have to take pinch of sand and brush your teeth with it by high pressure by fingure.Again, wash your teeth with water.Unfortunately,you will get silver teeth..................Thanks
Of course eventually you know you'll have to see the dentist but for a quick fix...lay a standard Bayer aspirin on the tooth, cover with cotton and let the pain-killing ingredients soak into the tooth and soothe the nerve...If you can get to the drug store...ORA-GEL is great it has some numbing effects that no only help babies that are teething but for adult toothaches as well.

call the dentist.Take some asprin or put orajel on it.but you cannot use orajel & asprin athe same time because their both pain killers.eat only soft foods.if nothing else helps try putting ice on your cheek (;
you can eat,drink,or put something in your mouth that's cold i have braces and i am in 6th grade and when they tighten by braces and it hurts my mom takes me to McDonald's for a very cold smoothie it works! try it out it might just work for you toothache!!
A tooth ache is a warning sign that there may be a possible infection. You should see a dentist right away. Infections from a tooth can spread through your body by way of your blood stream (the teeth share blood vessels with the rest of your body). This can make you feel tired, sick or even cause head aches. As a Doctor, I suggest you do not put aspirin directly on the tooth for it causes acid burn of your gum tissues and create another problem. Go to the dentist now before it becomes more painful and costs more money.
