I have a mate who goes out with my crush and I can't help feeling a little jealous

One of my mates go out with the person I fancy, and she goes on about him all the time. She knocks on me but not to see me, but to get me to waste my credit on calling him (she doesn't have his number and has no credit). It's hard for me because I have a thing for him now, so what should I do?

Hm, let me see if I heard this right....
He gave _you_ his phone number but he hasn't given it to her?
Even if he has gone out with her, it doesn't sound like he's that into her if he won't give her his number. And he may be going out with her ONLY because she keeps calling him (with your help!?) and bugging him.
And if your 'mate' is just using you to contact him (with your money, no less!), why are you letting her do this?! Tell her "no" the next time she asks to call and if she gets mad and dumps you, so what? She doesn't sound like a friend worth keeping, anyway.
And for pity's sake, if you like the guy -- ask him out yourself! You are the one who's got his number ... Use it! :D

Ok yeah I guess you've got a point. Me and him dated a while back and I have his number from them. He is into her but not too much though and yes he hasnt given her his number though she has no money on her phone. Plus it was him who asked her out and this 'mate' only said yes to make another girl who like him jealous (she doesn't know I still fancy him). And yes I'm not going to let her ring him on my phone no more because I see what she's doing (she isn't a thoughtful friend and I was never too close to her-she never thinks about what it's like to be in other peoples shoes).and last thing, it's hard to ask him out because it wouldn't be very nice to my mate and I can't bring myself to (I know, I know, it sounds well lame!) but you've really helped and I am going to think about it ;->

Thanks I know I should but it's hard. Me and him have dated in the past and I don't want to hurt my mate. I'm full of confusion I don't know what to do or say to any of them.

Thanks but it's quite hard- we've dated in the past and I can't hurt my mate. I'm really confused right now- I'm full of mixed feelings!
