Strong vault online backup is considered to be a service in which backup of data is offered under an online platform. It has slowly become popular to industries that deal with high amount of data. It is probably not loading since you do not have enough space or it is not supported. Therefore, check the requirements to have it.
I am having the same problem on my computer. I never tried to install or download this product. I have found modules on my computer in my User folder. I deleted them but the message still comes up to install this product when I press CNTL E. It acts more like a virus than a legitimate product. How do I keep this thing off my computer or get it off my computer?
Strong Vault On Line Back Up is Scamware. You will be bombarded with deceptive pop up ads purporting to be from legitimate companies like Adobe. The pop up ads care complete with Adobe logo & look like the real thing but will just load you down with even more adware/spyware/hijackware. Getting rid of Strong Vault is difficult & it must be removed like the malware it is despite their claims of being a legit company. Anyone that trusts scammers with their backups is really just asking for everything PC related to turn brown & stink. Strong Vault also infests with Stronghold messenger an aptly named adware/spyware scamware of deep concealment & secret roots. If you succeed in getting completely free of this loathsome stuff please share with the rest of .us. The simple methods listed have so far not been sufficient. Strongvault/Stronghold is a truly devious company. If you haven't downloaded their "Free" scamware do yourself a favor. Run for your life!
I was first introduced to Strongvault via a PDFlite download. To my surprise I received much more than expected. One being Strongvault! I tried uninstalling it, and three other programs, but to no avail! It was like groundhog day!! I was certain that I had really screwed up because I could not uninstall the program(s). I read some online forums and came up with a Microsoft fix that really worked. I'm not that computer savvy but it did help uninstall the programs and hopefully any possible spyware/malware! I use McAfee AVS and my computer seems to be running normally! I went to http://support.microsoft.com/fixit/ and 1. Chose "Top Solutions". 2. Install or Upgrade Software or Hardware 3. Fix Programs that can't be Installed or Uninstalled. I had to run the program twice for Strongvault. Good luck!
I have it on my laptop too! I found a folder with the strongvault app inside but it wont let me delete the folder it without "confirming operation" in a pop up so i didn't. And when i try to uninstall the program it tries to gain access so i denied it and so it didn't uninstall. I don't know what to do, strongvault's been popping up since 8th december. For those of you who have gotten rid of it, did you do so by following the instructions at the top of this thread?!!
When I couldn't uninstall, I found the strongvault and stronghold (related? should be stranglehold) folders in Users/(me)/AppData/Local/. I used TaskManager to kill the program smessenger and was then able to delete the folders. Can purveyors of malware like this be prosecuted?
K, ...Don, without something MUCH more detailed than this claim to go on I'm left with 2 possible assumptions to frame the answers... either your having what a phone tech might describe as an ID-10-T error, or, this is pure disinformation Wear a black hat to work Don? "Free flow of information is the only safeguard against tyranny. The once-chained people whose leaders at last lose their grip on information flow will soon burst with freedom and vitality, but the free nation gradually constricting its grip on public discourse has begun its rapid slide into despotism. Beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master." Elseif, what was the error, download site, etc. and I'll eat my humble pie if it's reproducible This is NOT any kind of normal... try getting a mailing address... had to do some hard pokeing to get a peek at this piece of the near atari as Binggle barfs out...

I downloaded the free program Gimp and afterwards realized Strongvault was installed.I uninstalled Gimp with no problem but when I tried to uninstall Strongvault through the control panel it would only prompt me to install again. I found this link in the forums: http://support.microsoft.com/mats/program_install_and_uninstall First time I tried it didn't work when I repeated it a second time it uninstalled Strongvault with no problems. What a pain.
strong vault or strong hold..doesn't appear on uninstall list.no file or folder turns up in search. it installs itself in a separate folder under Apps.open the folder and delete 7 or 8 files, then go back next day and delete more till the folder is empty.clean your registry with Comodo or another similar. believe me, i tried every conventional method before this desperation move with no success. Worked.
