How do I clean the screen of my phone without damaging it?

I have a touchscreen phone and its got my fingerprints on it and grease from my face and I really need to clean it. I've tried just wiping it on my jeans but the fingerprints and grease stays there. So how do I clean my phone without damaging it? Help please!!!

A dry microfiber cloth does an amazing job without scratching the screen.

Thanks, I'll try that.

What I do is get a cloth and lightly wet it, then I rub it all around the screen...and clean it off. Dunno if it's bad, but I do that.

Just dampen (no drips) a cloth or paper towel with a small bit of rubbing alcohol, and wipe it down.

NO paper towels. They contain wood fibers that can scratch a screen.

I guess since I have a screen protector, so I really don't think about it.

I have scratch resistant plastic lenses in my glasses. The eye doctor told me to NOT use any paper products such as paper towels, tissues, or toilet paper, as the fibers create the tiny scratches that cause the "fog" effect in glass or plastic. ;-)

I actually use those premoisten packets from Target.

Hmmmmm.........For my glasses I use Dawn dish washing liquid, or liquid hand soap, and just wash them under the faucet. I then dry them with a cotton bandanna. It seems to work real well.

The microfiber cloth SLIGHTLY wet, and a tad bit of dawn dish washing liquid works fine.

DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or paper products as they will scratch the screen.
