Practice singing in front of people. Your family at first, perhaps only one or two of them, the ones you trust most. Then the whole family. The slowly add people outside your family. Little by little you will accustom yourself to singing/speaking/performing in front of people. Even if you never become a singer (and I wish you luck with that if that is your ambition) being at ease in front of people, even strangers, will always be a help to you.
I play clarinet, so I used to have the same basic problem. what I found out is that if I am playing solo, I become very nervous. However, when I play with the rest of the band, I dont feel nervous at all. I guess what I am saying is to join a choir.
Obviously you aren't THAT shy, or you couldn't say you have a beautiful voice in front of a group of perfect strangers. I love to sing, and I don't think I'm very good, but I keep getting accepted into audition choirs, getting solos and was asked to sing the National Anthem, so I guess I just have low confidence. Confidence isn't your problem here, it's not shyness either. If you truly have a beautiful voice and know it, then sing! No one's going to laugh at you if you're good, and that's what most fearful singers are afraid of. You just need to face your fears. I have a horrible time in front of crowds, and I sang the National Anthem in front of 700 judgemental preteens and teenagers (so glad I'm in high school now, so much less stupid drama and meanness), and now I have an easier time singing in front of people. Just face your fear, work your way up to a big group, and don't psych yourself out.

Over the years I have read or seen interviews of some iconic musicians and a good number of them say they still get jittery and nervous before they go on, but go on they do. One entertainer said he has to throw up every time he approaches his entrance, but, he said, after he up chucks he's fine and ready to go on. The moral I'm taking too long to get to is, sing. You say you have a gift so share it,Sing. You may always have stage freight but once you are out on stage it disappears. Good Luck and Blessed Be.
