First and foremost, store your car clean. So have it cleaned and waxed. Use a car cover. Have the oil & filter changed. This helps protect the inside of the engine while storing in cold weather. Fill all your fluids if needed and give it fresh antifreeze. This helps prevent corrosion and your cooling system from freezing during the cold weather also. Drive the car around and get it warm before you park and store it. Once this is done, then cover it when it is clean and dry. Thats helps protect against dirt and scratches. Do NOT use a plastic cover or tarp. Purchase a good heavy cover. Now your ready to store it for the winter.
