Whats the difference between college and university?

Report as

A college and a university are technically one of the same. Both are considered to be an institution of higher education that allow a person to be educated and obtain a degree. A college is often considered to be a part of a university that often grant certificates, diplomas, associate's degrees and bachelor's degrees. Using the term university normal refers to a large and diverse institution offer and grant degrees for profession and degrees in various subjects. An easy way to think of it would be to consider a college to offer 2 and 4 year degrees while a university will also provide 2 and 4 year degrees, but also provide further.
