I think there is a loop hole in some states with traffic cams. It's something to do with your right to confront your accuser and your not able to confront your accuser when it's a camera. You could always speak to a lawyer but it's probably just easier to pay the ticket.

Thanks paulm for your answer, I really appreciated. I will pay the ticket if it was my fault but it wasn't. I don't know if you live in California but for your information, the LA COUNTY voted against these light cameras and decided to bring them down this past July 31, 2011. They also said that all tickets made by these light cameras after July 31 won't have to pay the ticket and won't show in our records. The Sheriff's department said exactly the same thing.

Yeah you should pay it 'cause you may get into trouble if ya don't, it will still be on your record and might affect your drivers license,

No don't pay it. If it was in the city of L.A. They are not collecting red light camera tickets. Nothing will happen. The city decided to not renew the contract with the camera company because the vast majority of people learned that they didn't have to pay. Save your money.
