If there is something wrong with the cartilage in my wrist rubbing do i need to possibly have surgery?

my wrist has been in pain for five year on and off and it might be something with the cartilage i heard from a dr and im trying to find out if i will have to get surgery. at least what to expect if that's whats wrong. im 14 by the way. i have done gymnastics in my past and i fell a couple of years ago off my skate board and i didnt break anything. but i also punched a wall a year and a half ago and i guess that could have some effect on it too.

I was thinking Carple tunnel but if you're a gymnast it could be the cartilage and then re injuring it by punching the wall, you should definitely have it xrayed. I hope it all goes well

You may have developed permanent damage from your slugging walls (hope it made you feel better) and falls. Rather than going through life with discomfort, get it checked out.
