I am always a fan of the Classics...Hemingway, Tolstoy, etc. "For Whom the Bell Tolls" was a really good book...but since you have 2 weeks..."War and Peace"! Bring a dictionary and look up the words you don't know...it will be a great experience.
ZOMBIE BOOKS that way you can be ready for the undead to rise from the ground to come and try to eat you haha mainly "The Zombie Survival Guide" LOL:) It goes into details telling you how to use and make weapons, what to do when the outbreak happens, where to and how the hold up at, and all that crazy stuff my uncle has the book and I was just laughing reading it and seeing what all it had to say so funny and amusing to me it is anyways, but I am just weird that way LOL:)
i love the classics like jane eyre and pride and prejudice or little women. I love all of Nora Roberts books to add some spice to my life. i really love to read Nicholas Sparks and the sisterhood of the traveling pants. tuesdays with morrie.
Harry Potter! Amazing! Of course, to truly understand the brilliance you have to read this MANY times. Other amazing reads: -Finding Alaska by John Green -The Fault in our Stars by John Green -The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky -Sold by Patricia McCormick -Modoc by Ralph Helfer These are just a few. Enjoy!
A great series that I would advise you to read is the Chaos Walking. It starts with The Knife of Never Letting Go, then The Ask and the Answer and finally The Monsters of Men. It is a great and amazing series truly. EVERYBODY READ IT :D
C.S. Lewis: Obviously, Chronicles of Narnia, are most popular, but VERY impressive, are his "The screwtape letters," "Mere Christianity," "the Problem of Pain," "The Great Divorce." What age-range? Have you a preferred genre? "The Cure for Death by Lightning" - can't remember the author, sorry, but heart-rending and thoroughly resonant.
