How can I get a guy who likes me to stop talking to me?

This guy likes me alot.I just think he's creepy. He keeps talking at me, and finding me in the hallways. I've been trying to avoid contact with him, and keeping out meetings short. Today he found me at my locker and asked to talk to me, but I denied because I needed to get to my next class. Can someone help me get him to lay off, or at least deny him gracefully?

Lol well wen i was in high school that happened to me i would act really simple and told him i had to go all the time

Just be honest and direct, guys aren't wired to read your hints, at least not in high school.
