how might people who may not have time to exercise incorporate exercise into their lifestyle?

A quick few crunches in the morning and at night, etc. if you're going somewhere close, try to walk or bike it rather than drive. Drink a lot of water to increase your body's metabolism. Avoid sugar and snacks. Try some light snack like beef jerky or powdered soups. Staying active and avoiding snacking is the key when you can't exercise.
