What are some ways to solve linear equations with fractions?

HELP! I dont get it!!!

Report as

Example:
(3/2)y + 1/10 = (1/5)y - 1/2
The least common multiple of the denominators of: 3/2, 1/10, 1/5, & 1/2
is 10. Multiply each side of the equation by 10:
10[(3/2)y + 1/10] = 10[ (1/5)y - 1/2]
Get 15y + 1 = 2y - 5
Now, no fractions!

I'm not really sure what you mean but to get rid of a fraction you can multiply everything by the the least common dominator.
