There are militia groups that would love for that to happen but i doubt it seriuosly. For one thing, despite the problems our govt has, it is still one of the best and strongest in the world and most Americans still grasp that fact. Plus id like to think folks were smart enough to LEARN from the past cause the last civil war didt work well at all for the side that wanted it. A civil war would be stupid and have almost no support from anyone but seperatist groups like the aryans and enemies of the US like middle eastern terrorist sleeper cells.

He's an idiot among a minority of idiots who think the same way. Those are the idiots who have bought so much ammo that there's an ammo shortage for police, so we ignore dangerous idiots at our own peril. They may be idiots, but they're armed idiots.

Don't you think there was a better way to voice your opinions? I mean we all have opinions but we don't have to be rude about it.
P.S. Neither I nor my brother own a single weopon.

No. If he genuinely believes that we are about to have a civil war then he is an....IDIOT. He obviously doesnt pay attention to what is going on in the world. In case you didn't notice last Sunday (sept 11) showed that we are a united country. What would Americans kill each other for???? Obama, High unemployment???? But I think your question was BS any way. Your probably some fat old lady who is bored and trying to stir stuff up.

jbomb--living in a stateful of such idiots qualify them to be classified as idiots by virtue of definition. It's not rude, it's accurate.

maidenofhespear- History shows that a country can be united on one topic but still end up in civil discord over a multitude of other topics. My question was not BS I genuinly wanted to know everyone's thoughts on the matter; however I did not take into account that there would be those who would react harshly on the matter.
No I'm not an old lady, but i am fat.

This country was born out of revolution . And every properous nation needs revolution . America as a nation is an infant . And revolution will almost certainly be something that has to happen .

Better idea--if you hate America, move. Love it or leave it.

Anybody fomenting for a civil war violence hates the nation. Period.

I don't believe it's as simple as that. One can love the nation but hate the actions of its leaders.

One can but most of us don't, and this threat of a civil war is just kids with dangerous weapons throwing a tantrum because their pet party isn't in the White House. I'm all in favor of them seceding so that Mexico can have 'em.

No most of the people that agree with the notion of a civil war, or at the very least that the government is corrupt, do not prefer either of the parties but distressed about certain things going on in American politics and/or the effects some of the choices out Government has on their lives. i.e There is a stimulus package that gives banks a nice sum of money for every foreclosed house they sell. The effect of this is less time to pay off a mortgage and an extreme loss of property value. This has left many americans homeless.

Clara , as the son of two veterans who is a veteran and the brother of a veteran , and the father of veterans I can assure you that some random child playing troll on a web site will not affect my patriotism . I might suggest you study some history .

Just because my opinion differs from yours does not mean i am "playing troll." I do not hate this country, I in fact love this country and the freedoms that we have that others do not. However I also believe that the corruption in this government must be stopped before the freedoms we enjoy are run into the ground.

Very highly unlikely that will happen. Maybe and a big maybe a revolt against the government. Not sure why he think civil war though as I don't see a north and south divider or state against state anywhere. It's mor people vs. Govt.

We won't have a revolt but we are in deep trouble with the leadership we have

No. It's not like armed idiots aren't going to try, but even if they do try, it'll fizzle. And if they who commit criminal acts seek refuge in secessionist Texas, it's okay if we get rid of Texas. M13 will invade, followed by the Mexican military just as the U.S. military industry and military bases pull out of Texas and Texas becomes Mexican in a matter of months.

I'm all for that.

Sounds like someone gates Texas cause we like freedom away from government. As the saying goes "man who gives up freedom for security deserves neither"

Exactly, and the tyranny of war's violence isn't freedom--it's government by warlord, kinda like Afghanistan. We don't need that here.
