How much is a 1944 "D" mercury dime worth?!

it's in pretty rough condition, but still awesome! :D

I would suggest you look at Ebay or get a book from the library to determine the value of your coins.

To have any value over 10 cents, the dime must be in excellent to uncirculated condition.

Not true. The '44 dime is silver. And the price of silver has increased dramatically since Obummer took office.

You're right, your dime is 90% silver content. At todays silver price, your dime has a melt value of $2.30. To a coin collector, it has no value.
