I would suggest a cat. They are easy to care for and will love a good play time or snuggle time on the couch. It's also good for somebody who works because they won't have to be let out to use the bathroom.
get a kitty from the pound....you'll also know its shots as re up to date & you may be saving a life....when you go, if they allow you to ser the cats in their cages so you can choose, choose one that will look you in the eye & if they reach out (if it's possible) thru the bars toward you.....that's your kitty.....and if you touch its paws & it clings to your fingers, that's really your kitty....chances are when you first pick it up it will begin to purr as soon as it feels your touch & the bond is already developing. If a cat does not purr when you first touch it, it's not your kitty!
May sound crazy but go with a Snake there amazing pets and are extremely easy to handle. Just don't get burmese pythons or anacondas they're a little more stubborn and are expensive. I recommend you to check these out if you'd like to. Milk Snake,California King Snake,Ball Python, and Corn Snake. Those are good beginner snakes. Hope this helps.
What ever you do get an animal from an adoption center, pound, or animal rescue. Some good pets are: Cats Leopard Geckos Ball Pythons Hamsters Parakeets Remember to do your research before adoption a pet, seriously.
it depends how much time u would be able to spend with a pet and how much monn ey u would be willing to spend if u have alot of spare time and are willing to pay a little more for food and vet visits a do gwould be the pet for u but u said you didnt want a dog so maybe if you are ok with spending a good amount of money on food and vert visits then you would be a cat person i dont have alot of extra time in my day but i have a turttle two rabbits two cows four cats and a sisster haha but they all get equal ammounts of attwntion and love and care if you are looking for a pet that does not cost that much or if u find that you just dont have enough extra time every day i would suggest a turtle hermit crab lizard snake frog hamster or gennie pig they are all easy to care for and quite inexpensive hope this helped any other questions just post em and ill answer them :):):)
Well... If you want a small pet that can be destructive and live for a while, there are rabbits, ferrets, some hamsters and a few others. Some of those can live for a long time... And a common pet that is easy to find is a cat... They can live for a long time, too. If you want a pet that can be pretty easy to take care of, but doesn't live a very long time, you can get a fish. Some fishes can be $0.25... Hope that helped! :)
A zebra!! ;) But on a more serious note, I think you should get a horse. They are big, beautiful, majestic animals and they're just awesome! But make sure you educate yourself on how to take care of them first. They take a lot of time, work, and money!

If you want a reptile get a bearded dragon cause the are at the beginner level so there easy to take care of. i would suggest a baby bearded dragon and when they get bigger you can let them run around your house and find it a lot easier. if you do go down the bearded dragon road and you need more info email me at email@example.com. or a bat!
I would definitely suggest a cat because even though you hear all these bad things they clean up after themselves, and are so cute, plus they don't constantly need you! I have two cats they are great to have!
hi I have two guinea pigs, two rabbits, two cats and a dog and they are very very easy to take care of! I also think ferrets or snakes are a good idea. If not, try a mouse! i love mice. But overall i'd suggest guinea pigs or a cat/kitten.
it depends on what you can afford and what would be big enough for your home or apartment. * I really want a guinea pig they seem very cute and the price is pretty good but it depends on where you buy. You need two guineas for them to be happy and the cage has to be large plus you would need to give them a good amount of care but every animal needs that. They make noises if they are hungry, happy, if you need to back of, and more so they can basically tell you what they want! * Hamsters are hyper and stay up at night so if you want one of them don't get a wheel or don't put it in your room or you will get NO sleep. * I don't know much about kittens but their restroom really stinks so keep that in mind if you get one and don't know where to put it. if you would like to know some more info about guinea pigs just ask me i have studied up since i want one really bad! :3
