What are some good ways to fall asleep fast?

Put your legs up on your bed while you lay on the floor. So your legs are up on your bed and you are down laying on the floor, by your bed. After about 8 minutes quickly get into bed and sleep. This allows the blood to go to your heart, and instead of sleeping an hour then getting into a deep sleep, as soon as you get into bed an fall asleep, you get that good, deep sleep. This also enables you to dream more.

Yes it does actually work, i do it everyday. And sleeping on the floor wouldnt work since it would be the same as putting your legs on your bed, and being kinda upside down because it wouldnt leave all your blood in your chest/heart and brain area.

I always lay in my bed and read a couple of chapters out of a book right before I go to bed after I'm done reading my eyes get tired so its not that hard to fall asleep after that.

1)Drink milk and eat a chocolate chip cooke
2) Read a big soft cover picture book (Either short or heavy, not in the middle)
3) Sleep on the opposite side of your bed (This doesn't work if you have under ten stuffed animals)
4) Drink more tea and read a not very deep chapter book

Warm a glass of milk up in th fridge so its warm not hot, and put a dollop or two of honey in it. I also find heating up a heat bag and lying it on your stomach is a good idea :)

Lay down flat on your back and put all your focus into slowly relaxing your body, starting with your feet relax everything going up until you get to your shoulders (by then you should be asleep) but if you arent then do it again and just try to relax yourself more. It works for me all the time.

Okay. I just learned that Benadryl makes one drowsy, but it is a cough syrup too. I've used it for more than 15 years.

Benadryl ia an anti-histamine!! allergies,ect., and will cause drowsiness in most persons......I like cherycol w/codine, works really well!!! Allterill is an mixture of manitonin, l-tryptofan & valrian, all natural ingrediants well made!!!

Doing stuff like that is bad for you. Learned about it in school. You can get addicted to watching tv, or listening to music to fall asleep, and with time it will be hard to fall asleep without them

1) get your phone and plug in your headphones
2) put them in your ear and turn on some music (nothing to loud)
3)close your eyes and then you'll fall asleep really fast i do this every night:)

If you just lay there it works for me. When i want to nap but im not "tired" but know i am, i just lay there telling myself i can rest and close my eyes and dont need to sleep but resting is just as good before i know it im asleep

well if you smoke don't before you go to bed and ..most the time i have a good shot of whiskey and watch tv a while before i go to sleep..also reading a book makes me really sleepy..

Put on a really scary movie that scares you. Whenever you get scared just close your eyes and then you should go strait to sleep. works for me.

Meditation would help in deep sleep. Lay down in your bed or floor and listen to the sounds around you. When i say listen, you just listen. Never judge or respond to whatever sound that you hear. You'll be sleeping as you're dead.. try this :)

Have a work schedule where you get up at 4 o clock in the morning Saturday and Sunday mornings and work til about noon, and then work from 6 o clock til midnight on Sunday nights. I fall right asleep after I get home. Always works for me.

you can try reading a book, but if it's been 20 minutes and you're not tired, lie down, turn off the light, and think about tomorrow. Try to relax and just plan out your day or organize something in your head until you fall asleep.

Melatonin pills, they are not bad for you, they are actually a vitamin and your body produces it to help you fall asleep, the pills are even safe enough to give to babies to help fall asleep, they won't hurt you and they do work! try them out, you'll me amazed! :)

Don't sleep in the daytime. Do work in the daytime so that you are tired by the time night comes. In this way, you will be able to enjoy a sound sleep at night.
