Do you think NYC will get destroyed because of hurricane sandy of intense winds rainfall amounts and accumulation of snow ?

No. It's been thru other storms and survived.

Hmm, the city is built mainly of stuff like stone and concrete with some wooden stuff but it depends on how big Sandy will be when it gets there so I don't know.
