How do bugs defy gravity?

I know that everything on Earth is affected by gravity, but if that's true, how are bugs able to walk on the ceiling, when humans can't?

insects climb on the ceiling due to hairs on their legs that grip the tiny holes and grooves on the surfaces of walls and ceilings.People are way too heavy and need velcro or some type of adhesive to achieve this.

How do bats hang upside down? Their claws grip the platform. It's probably the same with bugs.

They have substances that act like suction cups that are strong. We can actually walk on the ceilings, we just need one of those strong motorized suction things that people use to scale certain buildings.

They have these little pads on their feet, that humans don't have, allowing them to hang on to things.
