What is the point of crying? In other words, I know when a person cries it is because they are upset. but why do the eyes tear like that?

Report as

The eyes tear because of the lacrimal glands which produce a fluid, these fluid flows down via the key excretory ducts to the area between the eyeball and lids. Emotions like sorrow, irritation of the eyes, laughing, and yawning may lead to production of tears.
