There's a good chance you will be arrested if you have a warrant and you go to the DMV. When they run your information, they will see that you have a warrant. They have officers there for such an occasion, and it happens frequently.

They can't hold you at the DMV. They're not cops. They can deny you your ID but they can't arrest you. If you have a current ID (with address) don't hand it over. Eeeek.

You sure can. Just bring another form of id - social security card/ birth certificate.

Stop breaking the law and pay the ticket, then you won't have to worry about things like that!

Are you still in NV? If not, you can get your license, ID...whatever. Speeding tickets don't count toward other states' issues.

Yes, tickets from any state are in the central data base that the DMV's are tied into.

You can, but don't be surprised if you are " escorted " away by a friendly man/woman in a uniform.

As soon as they enter you in the system, the fact that you have an outstanding warrant will pop up.

Pay the ticket or it will follow you forever. Sooner or later it will catch up with you. The fine is probably drawing interest

Just out of curiosity, how do you know you have a warrant for unpaid vehicular fees?

Look don't do it!!! I use to work for the courts in a suburb outside Memphis, Tn. We handled all the cases whether they were traffic or criminal etc... A warrant is a warrant, you have a bench warrant more then likely, that is a warrant that kinda just sits there until something happens ex. applying for ID, you get stopped while in a vehicle, being at the wrong place at the wrong time. I think you get the jest of what I am saying, save some money and go turn yourself in and clear this up so it doesn't haunt you anymore... Good luck!
