There is no access door to remove my cabin air filter in my 2003 chev silverado 1500 4x4.

I'v removed the dust panel on the passenger side floor board and i see where the filter should be , but there's no door there to remove to get to my filter . Do i need to remove the whol heater box to get at it ?

To remove the cabin air filter on your 2003 Chevrolet Silverado, remove the hush panel that is located on the passenger side floorboard. Remove the screws in order to reach the filters. Find more details on the following link http://www.ehow.com/how_4506452_replace-air-filter-chevy-silverado.html.
