If a woman is not on birth control to prevent it, she can get pregnant at any time in her menstural cycle, though most easily during ovulation.

The Depo-Provera shot has a 0.3% failure rate at preventing pregnancy and does have a tendency to stop a woman's natural menstrual cycle temporarily while the hormone is in her system - this is normal.

It's possible the hormone hasn't completely left your system, and it's also possible there are other factors contributing.

You should see your doctor, just to be sure nothing else is to blame.

remember when you started taking depo it took almost a year to quit bleeding all together. it's the same now it take some women 9 months or so for all the depo to be depleted enough to start your period again, keep practicing and it will happen,,,good luck too..and yes you can get pregnant if their is no show.

Was on depo for 3 years. It took a whole year for my cycle to start again. And it took 6 more months to get pregnant. You have to have a period and ovulate to conceive. Good luck.
