How can i make my first conversation with my crush good in a way she want more?

any ideas? and if i wasn't that funny all the time will that effect our first conversation as for her? or girls want to just talk about my life in the first conversation what?

talk to her sweetly and ask her about herself and tell her about you and if shes intrested shell come back and shell usualy start off with hi but if u say hi back and make her pick the subject she may get nervouse nd end it quickly js
