What are the pros/cons of giving my baby a bath in the nighttime versus the daytime?

My husband and I disagree on this issue. He says daytime bathing is better while I say nighttime bathing would be better. Please help, thanks.

I'm no expert. Well, I've got 5 kids so I have some knowledge. I always preferred nighttime baths. I find that it can be very relaxing for the baby and gelid them sleep well at night.

Basically, a baby should be bathed at a time when you are not rushed or likely to be interrupted. Some parents go for morning baths when the baby is attentive and ready to enjoy the experience, while others fancy night time when it is calm. Consult with your doctor, and you can find out more details here http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/healthy-baby/PR00041.

I'm with cookieroma ^. I have an eight month old and I give her a bath right before bedtime. It relaxes her and she will go right to sleep.

I know that if you give your baby a bath in the night time and you use bedtime wash and than bedtime lotion by Johnson & Johnson they fall asleep Super quick.:)

I had six children and I have to say I think anytime is OK. So long as the room is kept warm and the doors are all closed to drafts so the baby will stay warm and enjoy the bath! : D

There really isn't a wrong time to bathe a child(or infant). The best answer I ever heard on the subject was "when it's dirty". Lol
Whatever fits best into your family's schedule would be the PC answer.
How about you & your hubby swap out for one week & then evaluate the results to tailor a schedule that works for you both?
