I was a dental assist. and the doc would have the people with gums turning loose from the teeth or bleeding gums try doing the following (several times a day rinse your mouth with half hydrogen peroxide and half water and with a round wooden toothpick go between each tooth and gently massage-turn the toothpick back and forth and in and out to do this-and it is amazing what this treatment can help. Hope that helps a little,it is cheap and sure doesn't hurt to try. We had clients with disgusting ,bleeding gums that the tooth was so loose I thought they would fall out on their own that did this for three months and there gums tightened back up and looked like a total different mouth when they come back in and WOW did it help the horrible breath that would have gagged a maggot. lol
No the gum tissue will not grow back if you have receding gum line. You will have to consult with a Periodintist and may have to have gum grafting done. This is painful during the recovery period and you cannot eat anything but warm soup or broth etc... and must drink tepid liquids. You will likely get prescription painkillers to take for a few days and will likely need to stay home from work for several days. Always use a soft bristle toothbrush. Trust me, I've been through it. Not pleasant!
