How do I keep my eyes from stinging when I swim?

I don't really want to wear goggles, but all kinds of water sting my eyes. Is there any way I can have it not sting, without constantly wiping them?

Goggles, youll get used to them, and no stringing. They where made for your vision, you eyes, for YOU.
Use them more often, they arent that bad.

Well when I go swimming my eyes sting to. Its part of having them open underwater. Either man up and deal with it, wear goggles like a sissy, or keep them closed and wipe them.

Goggles. Before I got them, I tried closing my eyes and its really hard to constantly keep your eyes closed. Even if you don't like goggles, you'll need to learn to love 'em.

I ma synchronized swimmer, so I know a lot of tricks. You can buy clear eye drops and put them in when your eyes start to sting, and when it is empty don't buy a new one just fill it with clean, fresh water. It will rinse out the chlorine and make your eyes feel better. All that is in them is sanitary water, and they simply flush out the chlorine. However, I strongly suggest you get a pair of goggles that are comfortable, because they are the only real way other than the way I just told you to prevent your eyes from stinging. I hope this helps, and have fun in the water!
