My dog has flees and Iv'e put front-line on him and it doesnt work, what should I do?

Report as

You should try other brands. i have 4 dogs myself and we used to use frontline plus, but it didnt really work so we switched to 1-800-petmeds and we use the k9 advantix. it works really well. also if you see fleas on your dog you should give them a bath in dawn dish soap.it works really well. i use it when i bring my dog upstate because he gets sand fleas. the dawn dish soap dries out the fleas but can also dry out your dogs skin, so if you use it, make sure you use conditioner after you rinse the soap out

Groom your pet regularly and use the best free repellent available in the stores. Ensure you get rid of fleas in the house and in the yard too. They will keep coming back if you don't clear them in these places. here are more tips http://homebuying.about.com/od/sellingahouse/qt/Getridoffleas.htm.

Check with your vet and see if they have a pill called comfortis. It works great. It starts killing fleas in 30 min and lasts for 1month.

Don't apply any other drops similar to frontline if you just put it on recently. You can get your dog very sick. Ask a vet what you should do!
