Yes, it's the radiation, same as the survivors of Hiroshima.

Thanks Tony. I'm trying to decide if I want to go threw this. Also they are wanting me to take Tasigna 600mg. I hear its a dangerous medication. I'm just really confused.

I know this is a difficult time. I saw my mom go through it. She went to a woman who sold wigs from her home to cancer patients In complete privacy, she got a beautiful wig that really lifted her spirits.

Thanks Patricia. Right now I'm just really thinking and praying hard on this. Can't hardly sleep thinking what I shall do.

Okay thanks. Do you know anything on the medication Tasigna 600 mg? (It's for leukemia and other types of cancer).

chemotherapy kills cancerous cells, but also kills good cells causing your hair to fall out.

Not all forms of chemo make your hair fall out. It also affects people differently.

I'm sorry Dustee. I'm not ignoring. Really. I've got so much going on right now. I've not even been to bed yet. I'm headed there now. I really need to give u my email.
There's things I don't want to be saying on here. I hope you understand. I'll be back on soon as I get up and motivated.
Hugs Dustee! I promise I'll let you know what's going on with me. This is part of it

My hair only turned white! I didn't take radiation, but at least I'm now okay. My cancer was considered a very aggressive form, which meant the chemo was needed. But hey, I'm sixty, my grandchildren say I now look like St. Nick. lol. :)

it depends on what type of chemo you have. some will and some won't. most have other side effects as well...nausea, high or low blood pressure, low blood counts that require isolation from others to keep the patient alive because their body can't fight off germs. sometimes when a person's hair falls out, it will come back in a different color or texture.
i once saw a woman who had straight brown hair, get curly red hair back. check with an oncologist for the side effects of which ever chemo you are interested in.
