Before you get there make sure you have sent them your your r?esume? and a letter of interest. Know some important information about the school such as test scores, if it is a failing or successful school. Speak with confidence and look them straight in the eyes. This will take you a long ways.

Responsible, a good communicator, an ability to relate to children, creative in your teaching methods, patient, and having a genuine love for teaching and shaping your students to prepare them for success in their future. Give good eye contact during the interview and smile. Show a combination of warmth and professionalism, and dress appropriately.

Have u become tece certified. That class is a great way to learn about how to introduce yourself. You can also try resources like the local employment insurance office should have a job training service, your local library, or you could go interview a teacher yourself (as a research project) ask them how THEY got they job and for suggestions on what to do and what NOT to do to help you in your own interview. Good luck
