Matthew 6:19-21 ESV "Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also"
what about middle class :P, and what about people that live as hunter gatherers? Poor people can be evil and rich people can be kind, so its kinda of irrelevant. But yeah I´m with TheXphoenix Hell is eternal so I would chose poor on earth.
Most Christians would argue I've already made my choice- if they saw my bank account they'd have no reservations about that. I'd prefer neither- both sound awful to me. I'd take moderately wealthy and stay on earth.
There is a neighborhood in my town that is a very wealthy community and sometimes i go to yard sales there. I drive thru there and look at all of the nicer homes. I c the many cars and assets they own. And then i think of my mansion and eternal home waiting for me in Heaven and I say These people may have these nice things here on Earth but none of it compares to what i have waiting for me. Praise God if i just keep holding onto Jesus and endure until the end I will outshine them all.
