Is green tea really helpful for belly bloating?

in the mornings when I wake up, I have a flat stomach, but as soon as I eat something, my stomach bloats out. certain foods do seem to make it worse. I have had a colonoscopy recently and everything was fine. is there anything to take that helps?

It is good for your metabolism, they suggest you drink a cup or two after each meal. I am not sure if it decreases water retention, a ginger tea might do that.

I don't know much about green tea, but it could result from having very weak ab muscles. Do some sit ups and various ab workouts through out the day to strengthen your abs. That was the case for me! :)

Green tea is helpful in reducing the symptoms of bloating. In addition, black tea, iced tea and other diuretics like coffee are also helpful if you are suffering from bloating.

Peppermint tea is excellent for bloating also.I have never used green,or ginger,but I stand by peppermint tea as a really good quick solve.

yes , but this does not mean that after having a cup of tea you can go on eating food without limits .I have never tried it but my mother does drink it regularly .

That happens to me but it does not when I do not eat gluten. It is found in everything. Bread, pudding, some lotions. try going gluten free for a while and see if it helps

well think about a balloon. balloons grow from strong gases such as helium.so there is a chance that you are having bad foods that produce gases. so drinking tea is a good idea cause no gases.

Brewed green tea over ice. I drink it with grape juice (just a splash) - helps get rid of the middle for those of us (like me) who have a belly!

Well black tea and green tea may help reducing mild symptoms of bloating. If its more painful or higher than mild it may reduce it. ;) I don't drink green tea too much but it seems to help me every now and then. :)

yes green tea is very important and too usefull then black tea....so i want to say u that use to much green tea ....and too when you wake up in the morning try to drink two or three glass of water...then see .

i dont know about green tea, but i know ginger is very helpful. ginger tea helps with colds, ginger candy relieves pain, ginger pills relieve motion sickness, and raw ginger eases digestion

I am the same, avoid gluten and avoid the bloat. I drink lots of water every day after my one cup of coffee in the morning. It helps flush out toxins. Some think it adds water weight. Quite the contrary as it washes away the excess water weight too.

it is very helpful remedy for decreasing belly,drinking it two times in a day regularly will make you feel fresh,not only this is benefit of g.tea but it also reduces the risk of cancer and breast cancer.

Physical activity is going to reduce gas faster than anything else. It doesn't have to be strenuous, mind you, even walking around the block will start displacing gas in your abdomen. if it's a recurring problem, I'd agree w/ other posts and say watch your diet.

yes, it helps with bloating, as well as helping you stay awake, drink at least 2 cups a day, and it should help with bloating, and cranberry tea is good for period cramps!

I don't think green tea will help you to reduce belly fat. You need to do some gym work out to reduce your belly fat.

Pay attention to the amount of sodium/salt in everything you eat. try to keep your daily intake under 2000 mg. when grocery shopping try to avoid items that have a sodium content over 300 mg per serving. ask for a nutritional guide at restaurants and fast food places before you order. Drink water with lemon, try to avoid soda, and food high in nitrates (processed meats sausage, hot dogs, beef jerky, pepperoni, etc. I slashed my sodium below 1500 mg per day and began working out after i lost the first 50 pounds. 3 yrs and counting I lost and have kept off 205 pounds. I got rid of insulin dependent diabetes and oral meds, 5 high blood pressure meds, high cholesterol meds, and cpap / oxygen machine I use to need in order to sleep. I'm a different person now and I feel fantastic. Salt is the DEVIL, lol. Most of us Americans have no idea how mush is needlessly added to our food and worse we have no idea what it does to our health and taste buds. Once I was detoxed off of it (first 3-5 days) my cravings for high carbohydrate foods disappeared and my taste buds came to life. Food taste so much better now.

Green tea is very beneficial and I advise you to eat yogurt before going to sleep and sleep after eating 3 hours and will be better health

Hello,
Nice question. Green tea is best source of energy.
I used to suffer with bloating but i consulted my local gym about i the best way to de blaot is cut out white bread and pastas change to brown and cut down on in take.... the best thing to do is drink plenty of water and 1 cup of green tea will not de bloat you..u need to drink water regularly so u push wat ever food stuck in ur tummy out.
