Can moths lay eggs in human ears?

My husband and i are having a debate. I have always heard the saying "Keep the moths out of your home or they will fly into your ears and lay eggs." I hate moths just because i have always heard this. IS THIS TRUE or is this a urban legend. I hate insects. Flies are really GROSE and OMG dont get me started on the 16 legged-8 eyed Spider we have in our country. PLEASE HELP ME ANSWER THIS QUESTION?

I do not think so.
It might be a myth.
Moths are not parasitic.

Myth.

Although that would make a really sweet movie scene a guy having moths crawl out of his ears covered in blood.

I just gave myself chills.
