Does it seem that those that say "It is better to have love and lost, then never loved at all" are people that have not gone through this?

Pretty much. I think that in a way ignorance IS bliss when it comes to affairs of the heart. Those who have never been betrayed cannot appreciate the peace of mind that comes with that.

I agree, but I can't imagine a life without love. I have lost my bro 5 years ago, & I am happy I was able to have him while he was here with us. Same for ex's - all learning experiences.
